The soft, velvet texture of Merlot grapes; the intense, sumptuous flavour of Cabernet-
Sauvignon; the harmonious, intense and distinctively Tuscan notes of Sangiovese: Arrigo
is a Tuscan IGT wine of great character.
Arrigo was born from a search to create a wine that would be as pleasing to the palate as possible, and the choice of the grape varieties that make it up are a consequence of that aim: 45% Merlot, 45% Cabernet-Sauvignon and 10% Sangiovese. The result is young, soft, agreeable wine, intensely ruby red in colour, whose notes of vegetables and fresh fruits (cherries, blackberries and bell peppers) encounter one of the signature flavours of this part of Italy: Sangiovese.

The wine's secret lies in the fact that the grapes used in its production are cultivated at
just the right distance from Tuscany's Mediterranean coast, in medium consistency, clay-
structured subsoil; a location that guarantees the creation of some of the best bottles of
wine in the world. This gives Arrigo a rich, fresh flavour not typical of red wines.
The equilibrium established by its soft, sweet, refined tannins means that Arrigo is
perfect to be consumed alone, but is at its best when accompanied with food. It pairs
well with fine, well-structured red meat, cured meats and mature cheeses, as well as
strongly flavoured fish dishes (such as 'caciucco alla livornese').
This a wine to enjoy with friends, sip with pleasure after a long day at work, give as a
present (to others, or to yourself) for a special occasion or drink at dinner accompanied
with a good roast or mature Italian cheeses. In short, a sublime red. Signed, Feudo
Alboino.
